I didn’t have a rule but I’ve learned my wife was a firm believer in the 3rd date rule. You asked her out on the 3rd date and if she said ‘yes’ it wasn’t just for dinner.

if the sex was good and i am single i would continue dating (maybe only 4 sex).if i would be in a relationship and had sex with a girl on a first date i would have acchieved my goal and i would not date anymore.

Yes I think too soon is an option. You should make the guy work for it I.E. Make him fall in love with you and let him know you’re not one who gives it away. The reason it is important because most likely he will stay with you longer if you wait. If you just do it then he will assume that is the way you are with everyone. Unless there is a past with you and this person. I hope this helps. Trust me just make him wait. =)
