There is a noticeable increase in the population of singletons each year. It is a bit surprising when based on the efforts done by any individual to keep their date interested. 1. Missing out the first ten minutes of the date. This particular period is essential in a date because this period can either make or break you. Most women determine the likelihood or the lack thereof of a second date during this period. Be sure that you get your date’s full attention in the first minutes of your date to guarantee a next possible date.

2. Forgetting little details during a date. Most men tend to be either too confident or have the absence thereof. Treat your date as an old friend and keep the conversation going. Compliment her best assets without flattering her too much and you’ll become her favorite.

3. Doing strange gestures. Men must avoid things that they find cute but are actually inappropriate for women. Some of these include feeding women with food without asking, overpowering perfumes, political discussions, comparing ex-partners, texting and the like. Try to act as civil as possible. Remember that this is just your first date and she may find your being overly comfortable with her, weird.
